Goal: Increase the reach of Logie's on Mass food and drink deals and drive customer engagement on Instagram.

Description: Partner with Barstool Sports for The Best Bar/Restaurant Week of “Barstool Best College Town” Competition of 2024.

Strategy: Create Instagram posts targeting KU students to “Barstool Best College Town” competition and promote new food and drink deals.

The Process

Creative Process: 

  • Collaboration and communication with Barstool Sports and Logies on Mass Management to create a campaign for both platforms. 

    • Logies on Mass and Barstool agreed to create awareness for “Barstool Best College Town” Competition and introduce new food and drink deals for Logies on Mass. 

    • The dates were settled on Tuesday, August 20th and Thursday, August 22nd. 

  • Capture and edit high-quality photos.

  • Write compelling copy and design appealing graphics for both platforms that are tailored to both audiences. 

  • Maintain consistent interactions with followers.

Executive Summary:

This campaign demonstrates the impact of strategic collaboration on audience reach. By partnering with Barstool Sports, Logie’s on Mass successfully increased its Instagram impressions by 403.9%, surpassing our goal of expanding reach. Despite a dip in engagement rate from 14.6% to 4.2%, this aligns with BarstoolKU’s larger follower base (63.5k) and their typical engagement rate of 4.5%. The collaboration not only drove online visibility but also resulted in a significant increase in foot traffic, with on-site visits rising by 115.7%. Overall, the campaign effectively engaged both audiences, driving strong results.
